Grand Opening Salvo of the 71st Founding Anniversary and 15th Agten Tufi Festival Successfully Held.

Today, the grand opening salvo of the 71st Founding Anniversary and 15th Agten Tufi Festival was successfully held in the town of Tupi, centered on the theme: "Celebrating together the blessings received. 

Unite and rejoice in a town of unity. WoW Tupi.

It started with a parade led by the officials of the Municipality of Tupi, headed by Tupi Mayor Romeo S. Tamayo, Vice Mayor Glen C. Hatulan, and the Members of the Municipal Council.

Also present were the Heads of Offices, NGOs, GOs, and sixteen barangays in the town led by their respective barangay captains.Highlights of the day included the Drum and Lyre Grand Showdown, Most Festive Competition, and Mass Dance Competition.

Later tonight at 6 o'clock, there will be the pre-judging of the Bahay Kubo and Product Display Competition. Nonoy Pena, Davao Artists, and Silent Sanctuary Band will also join the Tupinians in the celebration. And the fireworks display will also be awaited later tonight.
